A Los Angeles judge has issued a temporary restraining order for Halle Bailey, following her claims that DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, engaged in repeated physical, verbal, emotional, and financial abuse throughout their relationship. The court has ordered DDG to maintain a distance from Bailey and their 17-month-old son, Halo, at least until the scheduled hearing on June 6.

Halle Bailey Restraining Order Details: Shocking Allegations of Physical Assault
Bailey’s court filing chronicles multiple instances of alleged violence. She claims the abuse persisted even after their breakup in 2023, escalating into physical altercations.
One harrowing incident from January was highlighted, where DDG allegedly called her derogatory names while she was securing their child in a car seat. The situation reportedly turned violent, with Bailey recounting, “We got into a physical struggle—wrestling, shoving, and at one point, Darryl yanked my hair and smashed my face against the steering wheel, breaking my tooth.”
Bailey provided photos showing her injuries — a broken tooth and bruises on her hands — as part of her evidence.
Home Invasion, Harassment & Online Abuse: More Grounds for Halle Bailey Restraining Order
In another disturbing event, Bailey alleges that DDG broke into her home while she was away, later sending her a threatening message alongside a photo of her bed, accusing her of infidelity.
Further incidents included DDG allegedly destroying a security camera after an argument and forcibly taking her phone while she was holding their child. Bailey reported this episode to the police.
Beyond physical confrontations, Bailey also seeks to curb DDG’s online harassment. She requests a court order barring him from using platforms like Twitch and YouTube to incite his followers against her. “He maligns me publicly, claiming I’m hiding our son and involved with other men, which results in hate and threats on social media,” she stated.
The restraining order further bars DDG from owning any firearms, with the court considering an extension of up to five years after the June hearing.
